Hello, and welcome to my website! I am a first-time children’s book author and self-publisher, and I’m excited to introduce my debut book, Kids Can Pray Too: A Lesson Learned.

I am a retired educator with 31 years of experience as both a math and science classroom teacher and an administrator. While serving as Assistant Headmaster at Columbia Academy, I witnessed firsthand how elementary students were impacted by the power of reading—whether they were learning to read, reading to learn, or simply reading for pleasure. That experience deepened my understanding of the importance of reading for young learners and helped prepare me to take the next step as a children’s book author.

Outside of education, I’ve had the privilege of serving for many years in Christian ministry. I currently serve as pastor of a local church in Mississippi. My faith and passion for the Lord are a driving force in my life.
